Drugs That Make You See Things

Hallucinogens are drugs that cause hallucinations. They may cause a person to hear, see, or feel events that are not occurring in reality. The main hallucinogens discussed in these chapters are psilocybin and LSD. Both psilocybin and LSD are classified as having no medical use and a high potential for misuse. However, these chapters discuss the ongoing study of the possible benefits of hallucinogens. Benefits may include treatment for mental health disorders, alcohol misuse, palliative care, and more.
