As time has progressed, so have the different technologies that have been implemented into the lives of countless individuals. On a national level, technology has affected the classroom continuously, from chalkboards, to whiteboards, to Promethean boards. With these technological devices in classroom settings, both advantageous and detrimental effects have been shown in relation to the student’s quality of learning. Additionally, unprecedented times have caused institutions to develop a greater dependence on technology to navigate challenging circumstances, such as a global pandemic. Such circumstances have sparked a revolution in the academic paradigm that leaves us curious as to what the future of education looks like with the integration of new technologies.
